Wearing glasses

I finally got my prescription eyeglasses a couple of days back.Surprisingly they are not as bad as I thought they would be.I hate glasses;I have been evading them ever since I was a kid but now decided that my eyesight was far more important than the appearance.I have +0.5 in both eyes so I am required to wear them only when I read books and when I am at the computer.Oh well,I get the look of an IT professional(and actually I am one) so the perks are good :)
