My last year Halloween Costume

Halloween spells fun,doesn't it? It is time to party,when Halloween's around the corner.What is the first thing that jumps to your mind when you heard the very word?Costumes.The biggest worry for the festival is what costume to wear for the trick or treat rounds(kidding).I usually start planning for Halloween two weeks before it arrives so that I have adequate time on my hands,to make sure my gray cells are active enough to come up with a costume that will be seen as "different" and "impressive";you know what I mean,don't you.

Last year I decided to dress up as Johnny Depp,one of my favorite characters.I even practised talking like him and tried to imitate that magnetic mannerism,with the wobbly gait and all thrown in for good measure.I was pretty sure I would be noticed! But a few days before the D-day,imagine my surprise(which came as a bad one) when I found that around ten people from my neighbourhood had decided to dress up as Depp.I was crestfallen;I had to drop the idea as dressing up as the Black Pearl's captain;after all,Halloween is supposed to be fun,not a competition to decide who imitates the best.

I was able to dress up as Jack the Ripper finally,thanks to my friend who lent a costume he had as as extra.He was a proper God send!I realised how quickly your dream of Halloween could end if something like that happened.I browsed the net and came across a site that sells adult halloween costumes during the beginning of the season.I went through the site and was impressed by some of the costumes.All the regular ones are available,and they even have some crazy ones like Corpses Bride and Edward Scissorhands!
