Appearances can be deceiving-so can names

Apparently,chop suey is not a Chinese dish after all,at least technically speaking.It was invented in America by Chinese cooks.Fancy a dish having an Oriental name yet not originating from China.I believe it was invented in pretty much the same way that Chicken Manchurian was invented in a Bombay restaurant!
